Neighborhood Response to Alcohol Beverage Outlet Nuisances

The Public Law Center was asked by the Uptown Triangle Neighborhood Association to draft a summary of legal actions that citizens and neighborhood organizations may take in response to criminal or nuisance activity that arises around alcoholic beverage outlets.
Neighborhood groups have complained that some of these businesses are centers of criminal activity, loitering, noise violations, and littering in their neighborhoods, and they want to know what legal actions and remedies are available to them.
