No "Spot Zoning" Change for Short Street
High-Rise
Our neighborhoods are united in opposition to a requested
zoning change, which would allow an illegal "spot zone" for
one developer to build a 14-story high-rise on Short Street at
Leake Avenue, only 21 feet away from its one- and two-story neighbors
in historic, residential Uptown New Orleans.

As Citizens of New Orleans, we respectfully request that our City Planning
Commission and our City Council uphold the current zoning laws.

This project would destroy our neighborhood in order
to benefit one developer. This web site will publicly voice our opposition.
